Mondie I dont understand that comment... I had a GTP with 300 RWKW's and In stock form compared to a F6 in stock form the F6 has just as much instant throttle responce... Not to mention the auto F6. I drove the auto today (F6) and I was BLOWEN away. Titan FOrd have agreed to give me one for a full day for a photo shoot for my web site and im going to do a write up on it on there aswell... I was at Titans finalising the "Better Halves" new Zetec hatch and saw that car. I would have adopted it instantly if it hadn't been silver. I didn't have to bother driving it, cause I've been waiting and waiting and now I'll have BF Auto No 333 in Shockwave, big brakes, sat nav, and a roof for my New Years pressie . Then you'll have a toy to play with Simon. Now I've got 3 of the ba$tards and 8 focus's

I went and drove the BF auto Typhoon on Friday, and having 2 BA Typhoon manuals which Simon has turned into exocet missiles, I quickly decided I much prefer the 6 speed man .

I may have to forget the BF Typhoon 333 and get one of those big snarly red GT-Ps with the white stripe pack instead. I think upon closer looking, that FPV did the GT and GT-P more justice than the Typhoon when they went to the BF. The GT is never going to catch an edited Typhoon, but they sure look and sound the part and a few bits and pieces ensures that they don't embarrass themslves too much in the power stakes when a member from the Dark Side is confronted

BLOODY SHAME ABOUT THE AUTO - TOO MUCH D/L SHUNT, OTHER MYSTERIOUS CLUNKING, AND RUBBER BANDING FOR MY LIKING. There are still unresolved rattling issues in the BA Typhoon, and it doesn't hold up my faith that these are still there and that the auto I drove wasn't much better. They should have fixed one thing before they attempted another. I hope for FPVs sake that the auto doesn't suffer an embarassment like the clutch issue, but from what I felt, theres every chance it just might and I can't be bothered with the frustration of it all hopefully the car I drove No14 in merc silver is just having its own private little issue, but I'm not prepared to take the risk

Shame the quality control doesn't seem to have improved, and the rear exhaust with the mesh in the rear diffuser looks completely wank from either the left or right side rear view IMHO

BA manual Typhoon and BF GT-P is a much better option me thinks.

After reading the article it seemed to indicate that the 6 speed auto worked better with the GT-P than the F6 due to the more linear delivery of the F6's power againt the comparativly peaky delivery of the GT-P. So the box works better with it, it has better brakes, and it still gets spanked around the track?

But when it's all said and done I would still pick the GT-P, the sound of the boss is simply divine and a GT or GT-P with a stripes pack will turn more heads than a F6. While it may not be as fast it's still the flagship of the fleet, and I reckon I could live with that.

There was also a direct comparison between the Tornado and Pursuit on the TV show "Drive" over the weekend.

Over the 400m they smoked them both up and the Pursuit got the initial jump, but was very short lived as the Tornado blew past it like is was standing still.

Couldn't have put it better myself. The Typhoon is like an XR6T with ADD-ADHD, and it is a wild bit of gear with an edit

But the GT-P? Like you said, its the flagship, and it definately has the sound and the head turning capability

Hmmm - Well I'm not on that wavelength at all.. That's a bit like saying that if you are seriously into running - you will still be better in a pair of high heels than Nike joggers...

I figure that if you into serious driving, the pick of the drivers FPVs is F6 by a mile... and pocket the change....... But if you are into posing.....

Guess that's what makes humans interesting; lots of different perspectives..
