I remember reading on the forum that the same part that was used on the typhoon is now used in the bf xr8 so its no longer an fpv part! having read this on the forum I thought it would be easy to get, but both said that despite it being a bf xr part, ford have made them unavailable for purchase! Anyone heard about this?I also tried to talk them into giving me a typhoon/gt gauge pod (my old man has one.....sure he does). They gave me the base, apparently they can if they have one in stock, but wont give me the two pods and the silver rings! Does anyone have these, or can anyone PLEASE lend me their F6/GT VIN so I can get them? Id really appreiciate someones help, I really want this because I dont like the ss inductions item and ive got 2 cobalt gauges sitting in the garage with nowhere to go!!! ford number 1 Donating Members 602 Member For: 20y 5m 26d Gender: Male Location: N/W Sydney Posted 01/12/05 08:41 AM Share Posted 01/12/05 08:41 AM Ive tried 6 dealers to get the Typhoon CAI.All of them told me no, so ive ordered a part that someone mentioned in another thread.Its BAF-9C676B.A couple of dealers said the part is for the BF and that Ford have stopped releasing the part.A guy at Peter Warren done some searching and found out there is 10 in Melbourne.He had a look at the part on his computer and he cant tell the difference between it and the BA2T9C676A which is the typhoon part.Ive ordered one and it should be in tomorrow so I'll post up a picture when I get it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
