It fits, ahh, pleanty of room, about 6 " front & back.

Pleanty of room, however the rear door becomes useless now. :spit::blink:

No worries :spit: Bloody thing wouldn't want to be any longer though...lol.

How long before we see you on here crying coz you've hit that front wall..

If I was you id be putting some bump stops in for your front wheels to take the guess work out of parking in there otherwise your going to get real cranky... only other option I could suggest would be reverse in with some reversing sensors..

As for stripes, sif youd put sticky tape on your nice "Prestige" paint. :k24t:

Hi Wayne

I saw an add in the latest catalogue for Australia Post for parking sensors that attach to the wall of the garage, could be just the thing, I think they were about $20.

Cheers

Big AL

Haha, what a laugh. :spoton:

You have a point there Brent...lol, wondering how long it would the before the vinyl starts to degrade. As for sensors, haha, umm....."A BIG NO"!!! As for some kind of bump stops, hmm, easy, cheap, why not.

Glenn.... The body kit will be interesting and I'm sure it will look great. At least your choice is 'just enough', not too "ricey"..... Seen some shockers on AU's, I'd be interested in seeing how it turns out. "Stripes are hardly rice"...lol. I could get a F6 Tornado kit from AWC... And watch it shatter on the wall.... :msm:

I had an old `78 XC GS Coupe and that thing has been in some tight squeezes, just a matter of re-training, I'll know the thing perfectly soon enough. Cheers for your suggestions. Big Al, that might be a go as well for just $20, haha, why not

Hey 1ute, 1 up on me, you can use your rear door.....lol. I can't.

Big Al, I checked out those sensors at Australia Post.....Their minimum range is 1 ft so it wouldn't be any good in this "tight squeeze" situation. Be a good visual aid for anyone reversing into a garage though as the unit comes with a visual aid you can place anywhere so it's in direct eye level. It luminates 'green' from 7-5 ft, blinks 'yellow' from 5ft to what ever level you set then red indicating to stop. For under $30, it's pretty nifty. Could be handy if anyone is simply looking for a solution to the reverse sensors if they didn't opt for it.

Think someone had the idea of something soft dangling from the roof. Have it touch the windscreen when I'm getting close to the right position. "I was thinking of a rubber spider, could be amusing". Mother had a laugh at that idea.....lol. Have an arachnephobic in the house? There you go gents, how to scare the  out of your spouse.

:k24t: :banghead:

The old piece of 2x4 or 2 bricks on the concrete floor may be the best alternative. Damn cheap too. :k24t:
