A great effort there Master G. 355 in an auto with a phase III kit. And these unichips supposedly can't make good power...  :fool:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

And I quote,

No one else had said a word about xede, edit or Unichip, no one, all were happy to congratulate each other on ajob well done, but you couldnt help yourself, why do you feel the need to justify your position to yourself and everyone else at every given oportunity, is it you feel a little inadequate?

If you really want the truth, I couldn't give a toss about how these guys are getting the power, we all know Spiro does some great work, Ive meet him a few times, and quite anice guy he is, but your unrelenting push of the unichip starting to wear a little thin on me.

Like I said, if you feel the need to crow about your choosen path of mods, feel free, but do it in your own thread, not mine, and to the others who Egg him on, don't, you are all grown ups and should know better than to tease the goose.

PS: well done Rob on the runner up spot :smilielol: good work.

And for the record, Last time I looked, I was very happy with what was in my pants. :smilielol:

I have no idea how WA went, but I assume Extreme romped it in, and would have done very well in the national??

Mate, Goldie and I went to the Qld one both competing in Class 4. Great Brisbane day, very, very hot and humid. The measured intake temp near my filter was 55 degrees! Also around 90% humidity so not real good for power figures - ask Ian (Goldie) how much power it sapped after he was on the exact same dyno only 24 hours earlier.................

My end result was 475 horsepower (355 RWKW's). It had a fair bit of heat soak in it also as it had done two power runs before I loaded in my "good" tune and then ran the final numbers. I was lucky enough to win my class and the Qld day outright. I was the second last car on the dyno and I thought (so did others) that I may in fact get a runners-up trophy when the last car was reversed onto the rollers - a 460 big block WITH NITROUS....... He got (I think) 455 HP on his first pull and it went downhill from there with overheating......... So, GO THE 'PHOON !!!!!!!!!!!! Special mention to Simon from Xtreme Ford tuning for that something special that is my tune. :tease:

Good on you mate, and for all of you that get involved in this sort of thing, its good to flex your beasts at dyno days and track days amd just enjoy your cars. that's what its all about :tease::spoton:

Yeah, I made it down to the NSW version ran by Autotech, was a great day.

I personally posted a 290.8rwkw / 800nm (down about 20-30kws from what I was expecting from graph of previous owner of my car).

Was good enough for 2nd NSW mostly because it was only me and MG that had modified XR6Ts in the class.

Cheers,

Ford Grunt (Ben)
