Since the launch of the 360 or whatever its called, ive seen 3 on the road. 2 during Indy and 1 in Wollongong recently.

I think that says a lot. The car has been out for a few weeks now, and there isn't any out there.

Im disappointed to say that I reckon MMAL is goooone.... :crybaby:

I hope im wrong.

A few comments:

1. I have a friend who is an auto-electrician - he says he wouldnt be in business any more if it wasnt for auto-electricians, and a similar story from an engine reconditioner mate. (used to be pommy cars that kept them going).

2. Mitsubishi Evos, Galant Evos etc are pretty fast and well sorted cars. I would pick a 4wd turbo 380 would munt the XR6T performance wise if Mistubishi choose to go down this path.

3. They are boring - including the EVOs in my opinion, no pazazz or spirit to them - go well, do most things well, probably better screwed together than Ford or Holden, but.... bland and dull. Don't have that extra x factor that XRs or SSs have.

PS - why doesnt someone with good photoshop skills lower one and make a body kit, nicer wheels pic for us to see?

Sorry?

So let me get this right here:

You have a friend, who is a auto electrician.

And he wouldnt be in business if it wasnt for auto electricians?

Id say that's a fairly general answer, he wouldnt be in business if there were no auto electricians.

Just like me. I wouldnt eat bread if there were no bakers......

I hope the 380 does well, even though I wouldn't necessarily buy one. I like Mistsu, if only for the fact that they've put up with a lot of sh*t from us and them re: magna etc.

I REALLY hope they don't go under. As pointed out before, it will hurt us all.

we as performance car enthusists are not the target demigraphic, I have had lots of "big aussie cars" for a lot of my reps. They all spat it when I got the v6 magna's I copped the "its too small", " its front wheel drive" its "bla bla bla" shut the ...k up was my response or u will get hilux grinners. Every one of these guys changed there minds within a month. They all liked them to "live with every day". Its not that they did anything fantastic it was more they didnt do any thing bad. So a performance car it may not be, but would I prefer my wife to drive a xrt or the magna, I would take the magna every day, The car suits her needs to the ground, she's not a wanna be rev head like any of us, she would just sh*t if the car slid out, so the fwd is a safer option for her. I have driven one and it was a "nice car" that I really couldnt fault it. Is it a competitor to a "t", in a few ways its is, but in many ways its not and I think mma are not aiming that way. There has been development on a supercharged awd version and also the twin turbo as well, but this is research only at this stage. Would I buy a twin turbo awd, in a second. Im not one for brand allegiance, its more like what is best for me at the time. If I didnt need a yoot I would drive an APS twin turbo HSV coupe 4. That said, at the moment a XRT yoot is my car of choice.
