I just got My Gtech Pro SS off ebay (http://www.gtechpro.com/ss.html) had a bit of a play with it and managed a 0-100 in 5.1 and 1/4 mile in 13.3 sec @ 166 Km/h, did not stall it up hard enough, but was really testing the unit. Will give it a few more runs on the weekend; want to break into the 12's for the 1/4 mile. I got it to measure the gains when I add more mods.

Has anyone else got these units and what times are they getting?

How does the power readings compare with your dyno sheet and how much did it cost? The kids might need to buy daddy one for xmas :nono:

Let us know how you go with the further runs as a better launch should get you into the 12's

I had a bit of a play with one and recorded 0-100 in 5.7 and a quarter in 14.2@102mph. Only had a couple of runs before a cop came and spoiled the party.

A week later at Calder I ran a 13.8@98mph - so the GTech under-estimated my ET but overestimated my trap speed.

Due to variables like air and track temp and of course the human factor the only way to realy check the acuracy would be to use the gtec at the drags and compare times. It might be a bit hard if your racing but should not be too much of a struggle if your just testing.

I've got the cheapy base unit, and it reads within 0.2 seconds of times at the strip.

Tends to read slightly longer times, but higher mph.

G-tech : 12.9 ~ 13.0 s @ 119 mph

strip : 12.8 s @ 117 mph

You need a flat test track.

Best you do several runs and average them to use as your baseline for comparisons after further mods. Make a note of weather conditions too.

have fun.

cheers
