Good write up/read looks like the Phoon is pretty handy around Calder Park, kicked the GTP's ass buy 2 full seconds.

They say the stock Brembos on the Phoon really dont match the GTP's for power and bite.

They also mention that the new 19" wheel and tyer package iron out some front end issues that the Phoon had and now it handels a bit sweater.

Now I just have to work out how other people can afford to owen a car like the Phoon, once I work that out I can go and buy my self a Tuffphoon.

Man I want one BAD.

Typical times from Wheels. The Phoon times they quote are no better than a series 1 XR6T. Those pussies wouldnt know how to get a quick time out of Adam's T.

That's the best we've seen yet from any factory standard turbo car? But not for the GT. Once again the published times are provoking more questions than answers. There just seems to be so much variation in the product as it leaves the factory ... 5% and greater difference in performance on any given models at any given time. WTF are Ford/FPV doing?? Do THEY even know???

The problem with Wheels tests is they test with a full tank of gas plus driver plus passenger WTF.

MOTOR should smash those times next month.

When the BA Turbo first came out Wheels got 14.3 and Motor got 14.1

It will be interesting to see what Motor extracts from the BF F6...

With that terminal speed you would expect a good low 13... my time is only at 162km/h! They obviously dont know how to drive at all. I wonder what their 60' times are

My Terminal denotes a very low 12, or even an 11 second pass. It's not going to happen though, and it's not through lack of driver..

We all had a cry when the manual F6 didn't do what we though it 'should' have.

Remember, it's still got 270kw, nothing has changed apart from the auto, and it's put on weight..

I think Motor might get an official 13.7/8??

Full tank plus passenger, I'd take a 14.0 from a factory car..
