And what times was the 325rw with wheelspin doing??

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

13.2 with street tyres

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

that's very slow. When I first modded my current car it had 330rwkw's with Xede and ran 11.9 on the factory Dunlops.

It would be interesting to know his MPH and where the car was tuned.

What was your mph??

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

14.18 @ 108.98 mph

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Hi mate, do yourself a faver and buy some M/t street radials, with your mph, you will run a 12 sec pass, then if you don't want to keep on running, sell them to the other guy, because he needs them to. :spoton:

I have the same mods, but with a stock cooler. My best ET is 12.5.

You should be running low 12's easy

Thanks for the replies guys I know a lot more than I did before. Obviously if I want to put up good times I need the rear tyres to do it. Cant wait till the next time.

Just another Q I know its on the forum somewhere but I cant find it about manually

shifting the auto v leaving it in auto mode over the quater mile. I was told to do it manually and shift at 6000. Does that sound right?

Thanks <_<

because of the delay of the auto ,change at 5500rpm in firstand then it will end up changing about 5800rpm, then change at the end of second at 5700rpm and it will change at 5900 ish, if you waite till 6000, by the time it changes it will be wasting power in the next gear,

I have got around the same power as you and that is what I do, mine has a stall, but you should be able with m/t's to run a mid 12, and your mph will lift a couple of mph as well.

remember to let your car cool down between runs, I give it a cool spray of water every few minutes over the intercooler and all the pipework over the motor, just a light spray so it does not run away, it just evaparates, and leave your hood open till the last minute,

take it through to third gear on the burnout pad, and then move forward, and as you feel the tyres start to grip, ease off the power, about 5 sec all up should be fine, sometimes you will not need that bigger burnout to get grip, but first up it can be slippry.

hope this helps

Hi blueboost, do you mean you keep the brakes on and let the rear wheels spin until you reach 3rd gear then ease the brakes off until you just feel yourself moving forward then take the brakes off and let her rip down the straight?

Thanks.

Yes, the more heat in the tyres, the better your time will be.
