I am using 98 octane fuel and drive casually most of the time and I always return 14.5l/100km no matter have I change driving style. most of my driving is in city(newcastle) and am averaging 40km/h. so is 14.5 good/bad/normal.

Depends if that's what the computer says or whether you have calculated it properly yourself. Computer understates my economy. ie I did 500kms on 52 L (10.4L/100kms) when country driving when the computer said I did 11.5. City driving is about 1l/100kms out as well. But yeah anything between 14 and 15 is reasonable.

14.5L/100km sounds fine if that's moderate city traffic.

My all-time readout which Ive never reset says 13.1 which includes a few highway trips and modest Canberra traffic.

PS, pls accidentally run down Andrew Johns before the next Knights-Raiders game, tah.

Wow! 14.5l/100 The best I've seen is 16.7L/100 from the trip computer. that's in some heavy sydney traffic plus I've only had my XR6T for 2 weeks so I'm still driving with a lead foot.

Its a far cry from my modded mx5!

Yep, 14.5 is good imo.

In Sydney traffic I get poorer result, and my overall including some country trips is still 14.6/100

Mine is two this month. In that time I have done 50,000 km's @ an average of 12.2 ltr per 100km's - (Fuel records not the computer)

I use mostly 95 and some 98 when I can get it.

The 50,000 is a mix of city / country driving @ good speeds  and some slower in trafic stuff  .

Hope that helps

When I lived in Canberra I managed to keep it about 14 - 14.5 l/100.

Now I'm in Sydney I strugging to keep it under 17 l/100
