I am looking to upgrade my shocks and have been told the Bilsteins are good. Just wondering who out there has them (apart from the member I have already spoken to) and what they thought as far as ride quality and handling goes?

Thanks in advance.

I have Koni's allround on my T and the difference is very noticable.

I did not like the way the rear of the car felt unstable at speed and very floatie on turnin. The Koni's seemed to stiffen up the rebound at high speed and made the car feel more stuck to the road at turnin.

Either Koni's or the Bilsteins are a great upgrade to your stock shocks, you will notice a difference.

Had Bilsteins on my last car and they were awesome (albeit a little exxy). They are the best quality shocks you will find . . . you won't be disappointed! :spoton:

I dunno about the Bilsteins, but I assume they'd be similar in price to Konis? A while back, just out of interest, I asked about fitting Konis to my car. It was pretty pricey - around the $580 mark per PAIR of shockies, plus about $400 for fitting and wheel alignment. :spoton::spoton:

What do they cost roughly and anyone know what the exact part numbers are for the set to suit the BA XR6T

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Cost about $500 per corner when I had them (a while ago on a VN commonwhore). Not sure on part numbers for BA.
