As a follow-on from my problems described in my other topic, I need some ideas and possible supplier info for an aftermarket performance fuel pump for my ute.

Had a Walbro in tank installed that died in less then 4 months and now has cost me enough to tell me to make sure that I get a more quality component.

My options are:

Use the factory pump in tank and install an inline one in addition. Or simply replace it with a better in tank one.

Suggestions please??????

Need to sort this out ASAP.....

imo, run standed pump in tank and hook up a swurl pot and extra pump that the standed pump feeds, this solves the running out of fuel when tank is getting low, and lets you go a lot higher power level with out the chance of leanout.

What model Bosch, where from, and how much?

The surge tank and second pump sounds good - but I wouldn't know where to start to get this happening in the short term (being without a car is not fun!)

if you did not want to set one up yourself (which would be cheaper)

HPF has got complete kits you can buy
