Trying to decide on a set of wheels is damn near impossible. I liked the Speedy HP Envy's and Envy MkII's, but found out they won't fit over the brake/caliper combination I'm getting.

I end up ordering ROH Strada Modular wheels, 19 x 8.5's for the front with 245/35/19 Continental Contact Sport 2 tyres, and 19 x 9.5's for the rear with 275/30/19 Continental Contact Sport 2.

5 week wait time for the wheels to be made so I'm hoping to have them fitted before Christmas, hopefully when the brakes arrive.

i have 4 roh/amg strada modulars sitting in my games room.. two are very second hand with smacked in inner rim lips.... luckily they are repairable they DO NOT like potholes/cattle grids/20 cent coins left laying on the road. the ally seems to be very soft....awesome looking wheels though. did u go chrome or shadow chrome?

Chrome.

One of the reasons I went the Modulars is because they are repairable. I've seen a set of HP Envy's that have hit a pothole and broken the band. They're throw-away items now.

hey are "repairable" but no more so than any other wheel. i bought them for that reason to and when i damaged mine i went back my former tire shop and asked them about buying two replacement rims (not wheels just the rim its self) and was told u cant buy them. u have to go through the approved repairer in W.A. (alliance wheel repairs) so u cant just buy another rim and bolt it up im afraid.

I got 19" Envi's towards the start of the year, they look much awesome. I was contemplating the mkii gun metal ones but they werent going to be released by the time I wanted them.

Dazza.

in my opinion anything with a dish should be no less than 19inch.. otherwise the rims look too small. I like the look of dazzas car with the 19's, but the blood orange ba's rims look too small.

you should see clark (barry blue)'s XR6T, its got deep dish 18's and they look great. I think its a matter of having:

- no mudflaps

- wide rear dish

- lowered suspension

in order for them to look their best. :spoton:
