On the factory oil mine run @ 22~30PSI/150~200kpa hot at idle

10w60 Formula R hot at idle was @ 58psi/400kpa

0w40 Formula R hot at Idle is @ 46psi/300kpa

Probably drop lower on factory thermostat but at the moment I run a 170deg so the oil is not as hot as STD.

At present I run the 0w40 Formula R and it seems to run from @ 300kpa @ idle to @ 450~500kpa with open throttle.

Mine used to be around 52 psi when cold and around 24 psi @ idol after some spirited driving, it actually dropped 2-3 psi when both hot and cold after changing to mobil1 5w50. Im thinking that when hot the pressure seems a bit low for a car with 35k on it.

Where did you guys plumb the oil sender in

Thanks

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

You have to get a T piece to screw into the block where the factory oil pressure switch is

The T piece screws into the block, the factory oil pressure switch goes on the end of the t piece and the sender you get with your guages goes into the T piece. What brand guages have you got? Im sure ive got a part number for a t piece if your using autometer stuff somewhere
