I am about to look into getting a custom tune/ injectors/ Typhoon CAI/ K&N filter/Exhaust.

I dont have the money for a $2000 plus system, therefore what is the most cost effective exhaust modification that would suit the following modifications?

Should I get one of the less expensive 3" exhaust systems like the Di Fillipo or Xforce, which are about $850-$1000; or should I do the SMB dump pipe and cat that quite a few of you talk about?

My goals are for a high 12 second quater mile car that sounds good and is reliable.

I'd look at leaving the exhaust stock. You can't get cheaper than that!

High 12's would be achievable on your above combo of mods with a stock exhaust.

if it is an auto you can get 12`s out of those mods alone!!

if you want the note then just remove the cetner muffler!!

if it is a manual then you might want to go with a high flow cat and remove the center muffler!!

with those mods alone you will get high to mid 12`s depending on the driver and the traction!!!

My T runs mid 12's with only putting hotdogs in place of the centre muffler.

You wont need a full exhaust change to get the times you want.
