I was searching on eBay when I found This add for a 2003 BA GT for $9400.00

I have emailed the seller, but I also found the same car that was for Sale in Victoria for $69k, but it says its a xr8

If you look closely - there is o warranty, yet the car is less than 3 years old. I would suggest someones cooked a motor, blown their warranty, gone bust and want to off-load it. (Or something along those line)

I beleive you can get that on any auto as long as you tick the option box

There have been a couple of suspect GT's for sale lately. I saw another eBay auction (that has now been removed) that was offering a GT-P for $6,600 Buy It Now!!

Curiosity got the better of me and I (perhaps stupidly) sent the guy an email to see what it was all about. The response just cracked me up - how gullible do these people think we are?!

The FPV is still for sale. This is a 2004 perfect condition GT-P BA model with only 13.000 kms on it.

The car will be shipped from Cagliari, Italy. I moved here to stay with my family and I took the car with me, but then I realized that I made a mistake. I can't use the car here because the FPV is a Right Hand Drive car and here I need a Left Hand Drive car. This is the reason why I sell it so cheap too... for a higher price you can get one from there as well.

As you know the price of the FPV is AU$6,600 and for the shipping, I'll have to ask from you an amount of AU$1,200. As you can see all you have to pay for this car is AU$7,800. I can manage the shipping and you will receive the car in no more then 5 working days, at your shipping address, at your DOOR. I will send the car having written on it 'GIFT' so you won't have to pay any additional taxes. You have to know that the FPV is still registered in Australia ( AU specs ) and for this you will not pay any taxes/duties when you will receive it. Once with the car you will receive all the car papers too.

isn't that the steering wheel/dash setup of an XR series ford, and not an fpv dash ?

It looks like an FPV dash to me (from what I can make out) but I also thought that the GT came with the twin centre gauges not the fairmont clock

there should be a fairly visible fpv display on the speedo and rev's clocks, yet there aren't...
