If any of you guys and girls are considering returning their tuners to CAPA for the upgrade, my personal view is "don't do it"!

OK if you are planning a custom tune, fine. But if you aren't you may be dissappointed!

I returned mine, once I recieved it back I installed the 8psi map. Not much more balls than a standard T. The 10psi map feels more like the original 8psi!

This may be an isolated issue, but I'm not happy Jan! Considering selling the tuner!

Has anyone else experienced this?

Sorry Mate, cant compare. I just sold my NEW Exchanged CAPA unit to 'the brunks'.

But as he has no previous comparo, wont be able to help much probably.

It had Oct 05 Tunes for an Auto T.

Might see what he (Russ) says next week when he receives it and begins playing :crybaby:

My suggestion is to go and get it tuned to you car. You have invested $40K plus in a car, spend another $300 or $400 to get it tuned properly.

The results can be very very good.

I thought that was the whole point, get a Flasher and get a tune..

Why would you just get the standard set-up unless the WOG :crybaby: or SIMON :gooff: worked for capa? hehe

The issue is getting a quality tune here in Newcastle. The money is not the issue!

Hop in the car and go for a cruze to Sydney for the day or weekend.

Well worth it for the comfort of having it Custom Tuned, and knowing it goes as well as it can for the current Mod status. :crybaby:
