I for one am one of them people who like to hunt for cheaper alternatives that will suffice my needs, sorry if I cant write my mods off on tax like others out there...nobody is going to want to mofidy their cars at all soon if tuners dont stop acting like pricks to US, the customers... <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Ooh, and threads like yours above makes us all want to read what you say? Simon has never done anything but provide good advice, he does not sell the products, but will source them for you if required.I have dealt with Simon for a while now, and he has only ever provided good advice, and I guess the proof is in the numbers achieved.Simon was the only person showing any interest in my car, after I had a 'custom tune' done by one of the other tuning companies over here, leaving my car an absolute piece of Just check the amount of happy customers Simon has, that should tell you something You have reasons why you want the cat you have chosen, I have reasons for chosing the SMB unit, so lets leave it at that

No doubt the SMB is good and cost efficient But I would put money on it that it’s not as efficient as the Twin Metal Cat cats on mine. (definately cheaper though)The ones in the above pic are nothing like mine but the idea is excellent and efficient. What does concern me is the Length of each unit.......With 2 you should consider 1/2 the length imho. turbotrana Member 2,586 Member For: 21y 10m 20d Gender: Male Posted 09/11/05 02:01 PM Share Posted 09/11/05 02:01 PM why not weld up a dump pipe merged into two cats into a single pipe and check the flow of this as a whole to compare (for those who say two cats merged together dont flow double). This IMO is the best option cause having a large single SMB cat not having proper ground clearance would not get the car over the pits and a pain to drive around with.
