Bf Typoon Pricing Vs Ba?

I have an 05 XR6T which I am stoked with but cant wait till my lease runs out in 18 mths to get a Typhoon.

All your comments make it sound a great car, noticed several people saying the new BF will be a bit more expensive, any confirmed prices?

I also saw the new Mitsi Evo 10 due for release around the same time my lease expires in 07, will have to compare it with the Phoon, it looks alot more European and less boy racer which is about time.

Don't know about BA, but my BF phoon was well within the +10-15k range of the going price on a BF XR6T. Taking into account the Premium Brembo option on my phoon of course.

My guess is that EVO X would be loads more $$$ again.

The EVO is a much better car overall and faster to but doesnt have the comfort of the typhoon I guess it a personal thing

I agree totally.

As for "better", it's down to what you want/personal opinion once again. Full-size sedan was a given for me for example, even though I'll be the only one in it most of the time

I do about 40,000 km a year in my XR6T and have never got out of it feeling tired, scared and shaking maybe but never tired.

I think the Evo may be great for a short time but will become a bit of a go kart after a while. I will just have to drive the 2 and compare.

Have tried to attach a pic of the Evo X, you must admit is alot nicer than the Evo 7, 8 & 9 !

I have had 2x XR6 Turbo's previously and was looking at getting a Typhoon but chose the EVO 9 over it. I tell you what I have no regrets.

I have already placed a verbal order on the EVO 10 already.

dont want to burst your bubble there wee dougie, but that pic is of the "concept x". not saying the evo x will be much different, but that's not the definate finished product so it may not look quite like that. I read on one car site the front will definately be redesigned as well as the interior and other details before production.

Thanks mate, yeh realise that, I heard the headlights will also be basically like the old Evo 9. Is still going to be a nicer looking model than the 7,8s and 9s (in my opinion) Great to see some European styling coming through. Is the only way I can wrangle one as my company car!!

Thanks bud, did you drive the Phoon before purchasing the Evo?

Would I get sick of the Evo doing 40,000 kms per year?

I have a friend who has an Evo 8 and he thought I might find it a little tiring after a while.

The XR is such a great cruiser.

Love the new look of the concept car, hope it doesnt look too different at production.
