Nick I believe you have been having some long days tuning, maybe its time to have a good rest, as there is absolutely no where in the software that you can have different torque levels for different gears Not with boost not with throttle and not with spark. Also if what you are saying  fuel mixtures change when boost levels change that would mean if you were cruising at 3000 rpm and went to full throttle before max boost was achieved the engine would go rich. Again this is not correct. The system dose look at TPS but it also has a map sensor that adds or subtract pulse width to correct the fuel mixture to the desired mixture table. Go get some sleep Nick

M6 XR6T is the above qoute correct as per your understanding and experience?

not looking to start and arguments im just curious..? :crybaby:

Dynowog, I am glad you now agree that 270rwkw is not possible on stock injectors. But correct me if I am wrong, there was an issue on this forum about a year ago that you said that 300+rwkw was possible.

Re the SCT tuning software. Who said that the software is tuned on TPS vs RPM. I find this hard to believe.

I think you'll find the Wog was being sarcastic about the 270rwkw..... Especially considering he didn't bring it up.... You do know what sarcasm is ?

300+ is also definately possible(And has been seen by others), but of course you won't believe that !

I don't think he went anymore with it because the clutch let go in 4th gear on the way home the night before.

Also, wasn't that with ems and a slightly larger 'cooler??

I aint bringing skeletons out, but dig the old thread out if it aint been deleted, and post away in there..

Although I know what I saw.

FYI I think Barry gave Nick rev J to do your car.

Is that right Nick?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

We asked wog about that, but the software didn't load that first day.

He trucked away with the old version, I think they got it going ( New version ) after I left.

Anyhoo.... makes pretty good results considering, doesn't it...

You are quite correct. The main fuel calculation is a reasonable complicated Speed Density or MAP based affair, which is documented on pages 72 and 73 of the CAPA Advanced Ford Flash Training Manual, and covered in some depth by myself for those that attended the later training course. It exists on the main tuning menu under the header 'Speed_Density'

These guys are instead referring to the Base_Fuel_Table which is a lamba aim correction relative to this Speed Density calculation that trims the fuel supply to add an extra dimension to the system. It indeed is TPS vs RPM based, but is in no way the primary fuel calculation for the engine. Hope that makes sense.

Sorry Nick, I thought maybe your sausage fingers must have slipped again on the keyboard!

Glad to hear that all went well in WA. Now that he's back, I can finally get my car finished! I can't wait to get it sorted 100%.

I have no issues and it's only 70% of the way there!! Can't wait till she's finished! :spoton:

actually the maps were already made b4 I got there and had no time to start again with the new revision! it was the other stuff like being able to switch on the knock sensors etc that I sorted with using barrys version till friday night I had no access to that and other tables!!!
