Not here to start, or finish anything, leave your agendas' at the door.

OK, spun the rollers up to 287.5 rwkw with my ute as she rolled in the door. The big girl was then subjected to wogging for about 2 hours. Most of this time was spent trying to get some boost control happening.

After several runs, she backed up a peak power output 297.7 rwkw. Gains accross the board were in the vicinity of 7-18 kw. Power comes on identical to my slot 1 tune until 3500 rpm.

Different tuners, different methods.

I was happy when I walked in, I was happy when I walked out.

Anyone else car to post experiences from WA??

i have an eboost 2 on my ute. boost control taken to a whole new level. am working on setting up lower boost in 1st to get off the line then ramping it up in second...should make getting down the 1/4 easier (and hopefully faster)..

Yes, very much the same on the dyno, but on the street, Slot 1 ( Extreme ) will bag the tyres in an instant ( 2nd gear roll-outs ). Slot 2 ( Wog ) will bring on power smoother and actually 'feels' slower. ( still bags em up 2nd gear roll-outs, but more gentle.. ) I did a backup 1/4 on my PDA, wogs tune ran 12.7 @ 114 mph. Extreme's tune has run the same on my PDA.

I feel on the strip, it'll be pretty much line ball, maybe Extreme may get pipped by a ding?? whos knows.. aint alot in it..

Bonus part is, Whilst wogs progressive tune may be suited to drags, I do some track/motorcross events too.. Extreme will be better suited to that, it has a bit more punch out of 2nd gear and 3500-4000 rpm.

Best of boths worlds..

what other mods have you got??

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Injectors and 4" SMB dump/cat.

Stock filter and everything else.

Wog wanted me to get a boost controller so he could go higher peak power. I couldn't be arsed.. I reckon ~20 rwkw would be had with a $100 boost controller ( from any tuner ) till CAPA gets it's F6 map in order.. ( HINT HINT )
