I'll bet it's the hose leading from the crossover to the top pipe of the intercooler, right? You'll need a heavy duty clamp for that ie. a wide b@st@rd with a bolt to tighten it up, not those thinner screw types, if you know what I mean. Mine blew off under 8psi of boost. Have since considerbaly upped that and since fitting the HD clamp have had no probs whatsover! :spoton:

The stock car has 2 clip type hose clamps which should be replaced, particularly if you are going to increase boost.

On is located on the intercooler and the other on the alloy pipe coming from the intercooler and going up to the crossover.

lol just goto bursons/repco and ask for a big assed 75mm clamp.

That's about right, I just went down to a local hardware store that actually supplies clamps to our local APS dealer and got two of his heavy duty jobs. They're still holding up just fine. Hard to believe Ford put on such crappy quality clamps when you consider how damn cheap the better ones are. :laughing:

I kinda think ford engineered that clamp as a week point to protect against a boost spike as all the others are proper hose clamps.
