Hey Guys...  :nod:

Please excuse my ignorance (I am new to this FORD caper) but what is a HgAg?  :nod:

And how does it relate to the colour of a car?

Jack

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Hg = Mercury

Ag = Silver

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

actually UNDERCOAT doesn't count as a colour....

:nod:

BUT PHANTOM :nod:

I have a Bionic Mk 2 NA

Probably the only one on the forums

I love the colour.

You'll be sorry when the HgAg dulls over time

Like a cloudy day with clouds dark grey full of rain.

You know how a clear blue sky makes you feel?

Well Bionic does that to me every time I see it.

:)

The Bionic is damn nice and almost had me, then I checked it out indoors and I wasn't as excited, not that I'm planning on having it garaged much.. it's still one of my faves though. it looks hot outdoors - I didn't even know Bionic was available on the BA series Rik, great pic.

Yesterday I went and spent an hour just standing at the Ford dealership almost ready to throw my hands up, walk away and buy a mini-cooper (would be fun, but no).

This decision thing is killing me... I'm so close to Mercury Silver but have never had anything other than blue, thinking do I change now, is Shockwave me (Blueprint would sway me if it were avail for BF), is Mercury Silver me. If I don't make a decision now, I'll still be sending these types of emails on the release of BF Mk II.

Geez us Ford, why do you have to have so many great colours????

btw Dal - I'll have the car about 2-3wks after the paperwork is signed and sent away, just not sure when that will be... argh!

Silhouette is the one for me. If Blueprint was still around, I'd give it serious thought. I just love my current Blueprint XR6. But since it isn't available in the BF range, Silhouette is my choice. I've got a black Audi A4 as well and black is so cool looking. Just need to be mindful that black needs alot of attention because dust shows up easily on it. But when black is buffed, its the best...

I love my Bionic Mk 2

And you are right - being a BF colour I suspect the number of Bionic BA MK 2's to be very low.

All jokes aside, I must say though, my Dad has a HgAg XR6T and it does look hot.

You won't be disappointed with it :)

Go the HgAg mate, you summed it up well in your first post - it just screams class! :laughing::gooff:

I initially wanted Silhouette but a) the wife really didn't want another black car and b) after having owned a (small) black car, I knew how hard it would be to keep a (large!) one clean and looking good, and hiding all the damn minor scratches that are inevitable too.

I have no regrets about my chopice of HgAg and reckon it looks really stylish - understated class if you like. Good choice mate, don't worry about what the other colour heathens have to say!! :spoton::spit:

Personal opinion, Silver looks good and Gun Metal Metallic looks good, 1/2 way in between falls short of either.

Lightning strike here, which was second to Silhouette in the points for looks but WAY ahead on practicallity.

(I've had too many black cars not to know what a pain the dirt and scratch issue is, esp with a daily driver)
