Falchoon I see red Member 5,758 Member For: 22y 18d Location: nowhere in particular Posted 16/12/05 08:02 AM Share Posted 16/12/05 08:02 AM I'd like a $ for everytime someone on this forum has (mistakenly) used the "undercoat" remark, thinking it was actually funny. I'd pay big money for something original ... not going to happen though ... <{POST_SNAPBACK}>How much are you payin' Kent?

Improved resale, doesn't attract too much attention in parking lots, easy to keep looking clean etc. and very classy indeed! I think HgAg is a very smart looking colour (yes I think it is a colour) I don't know if I'd go as far as classy but each to their own. Lightning strike was my second choice then rapid. Had a black AU and sold it for that reason alone, couldn't keep it clean for more than 2 hours. Just found the point about increasing resale interesting though. I have heard things like this bandied around before that the loud colours are not holding value as well. My farther is the workshop foreman at our local ford dealer and he said the other day that through the dealer auctions some of the brighter colours are fetching up to $500 more than cars in the same condition, k's etc but in a diffrent colour. Blood orange in particular.

Especially some of the greens they come out with. including the green interior to match. I mean really, at the end of the day, it may look like undercoat, but it's undercoat on a FORD ffs!
