Well I pulled the clutch out today of the phoon as its been a little hard to get into 1st and reverse ( a bit like what happened whith guys who had the old clutch).

One of other F6 owners told me his ute did this so I took his advice and had it pulled and imput shaft ect lubricated. All fixed, lovely again, On a side note was very happy to see how good its all been wearing, I have removed the organic disks about 4000 kms ago as theyw ould slip at about half throttle.

I had Xtreme Paddle disks fitted and its been fine since, the clutch looks great with pretty much no wear on it. Gave it a quick clean lubbed it up put it back in and its all sweet.

I guess they got it right this time :spoton:

Only down side to the stock set up is its bloody heavy. :spoton:

very good to hear  :spoton:

but I dont think my clutch is heavy at all :nono:  in fact the XR6T 6 speed manual that I drove recently required much more force to engauge???

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I think you might find he means the weight of the clutch itself is heavy...

The lighter the rotating bits are, the quicker they spin up ! :spoton:

And give it a few more km's. Mine has free'd up a LOT more now. When your age, I needed both arms to change gears.
