I understand that it is part of the Perth Auto Alliance but would be interested to see if they are of value as they are the most convenient location for servicing. I was going to use Centre Ford, as this is where the car came from, but as:- the 3k service netted me a Fiesta as a courtesy car- they haven't bothered to book the service after I spoke to the guy who sold me the car and asked him to arrange it.. (maybe I put him off by asking for a turbo territory as a courtesy car, as I want to buy one?? )I read this thread and have decided to give McInernay a go, as they have the most positive feedback of the Perth dealers..So, two questions: Can I trust them to put in Castrol Transmax Z, and not just to charge me for it.Am I within my rights to ask for the replacement of the plastic just below the armrest? This has been scratched back to the base plastic (), as I have been using the flip out phone thingy (technical term) in the armrest to rest my sat nav remote in. If I can get this replaced, I'll stick 2c worth of rubber on the bottom of it so that it doesn't do it again! Thanks,Rob

I understand that it is part of the Perth Auto Alliance but would be interested to see if they are of value as they are the most convenient location for servicing.←Well I left my car there 2 weeks ago, and apparently they have ordered my new valve springs under warranty and only four of them have arrived so far. (they let me pick it up the other day though, so Im not without a car, as long as I dont boost it too much - the springs arent broken, just soft).I bought my car with mods and was told it would all be covered by warranty. However I have had to fight tooth and nail to get any driveline/engine warranty work so far. The service department say that the sales guys shouldnt be telling customers that they are fully covered by extended warranty. I told them to sort that out with the sales manager, because if I dont get warranty Im going to fair trading (I paid a bit extra to get a modded T with warranty).Besides that though.. service department has been quite friendly and helpful, as were sales. They actually found the problems I was describing.

I asked him and he just walked away from me and stood somewhere else - so a big F*ck you! to him.just over an hour later I was signing the papers for my current car at Parkford. I dropped Lynfords after he went to Park and during his break between dealerships I started buying from Titans. Park Ford would be a choice with David at the helm. Are none FPV Ford garages qualified to service a Typhoon?I know it's much the same as an XR6T, but..

I have had the Titan boys looking after my girl, that is when Simon's not tickling her, and I am more than happy with their costs, attitude and workmanship. Will be staying with them for the forseeable Peter

I bought my XR6T in Jan 05, BF XL ute in March 06, and F6 in April 06. I'm no fleet buyer, but they roll out the red carpet everytime I go there.I had a few niggling issues with the F6, which was repaired for the 3000k service. They replaced the oil and filter at the same time at no cost, and gave me a new BF XT auto as a loan vehicle.Establishing a good relationship with the dealer goes a long way to how you are treated from my experience with them.A big to Centre Ford sales and and after sales service.
