Murphy:''It's always been his fault!''

By: Anon..

Tuesday, 11 October 2005

Even now, several days after their Bathurst confrontation, Greg Murphy is still rather ticked off about THAT incident with V8 rival, Marcus Ambrose.

"He just came from nowhere, driving like he's bloody Ben Hur! There I was driving sensibly, singing along to my Evermore CD, I look over to see him laughing manically at me and he just barges me into the wall."

Murphy later went on to describe a history of tension between the pair.

"It's not the first time he's tried to ruin my life either. A few years back we were at Eastern Creek. I was lining up for a hotdog and some chips, then out of nowhere Marcus flies along in his falcon and runs over the hotdog vendor. What annoyed me more was the fact the kebab shop was closed so I had to race hungry.

Murphy went on to describe a darker side to Ambrose that we rarely get to see.

"He is the reason why petrol prices are so high. While the rest of us leave our V8's at the track, Marcus takes his Ford home and uses it to go down the shops to buy milk. Do you know how much fuel those things use?"

It was at this point that Greg Murphy began sobbing like a big girl in the style of Nick Riedwoldt.

"It's not fair," Murphy cried, "he's always picking on me, calling me names, scratching my Expensive Daewoo with his car keys. He's a bully, I hate him!"

Greg then shocked everyone when he stormed out to his room with a box of tissues. Thus ending the interview.

No mate, Ambrose cost Ambrose the championship. If he'd worn his balaclava like he should of he wouldn't of needed to come in and put it on, which in turn put him in the wrong place at the wrong time. I think the actual "incident" had both drivers at fault. They were both very focused trying to win the race and perhaps took risks that didn't pay off.
