Guest Guests Posted 17/11/05 10:44 AM Share Posted 17/11/05 10:44 AM I have tried having the plugs re-gapped and it didnt do a thing.Today I flashed the car back to factory and she accelerates smoothly and seemlessly all the way to redline.I am most disappointed with this product, cos although power increases it doesnt come on without a lot of "missing".As for the dealer that I used up here in Sydney, I reckon I have been ripped off. How long should a custom tune take? I was charged $450 which involved a couple of dyno runs and no more than 20 minutes on the laptop. In my opinion the dealer has not made reasonable efforts to find out why the car isnt accelerating smoothly.Interested in others experiences and thoughts before I totally trash this product and the dealer in Sydney.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I can't believe a tuner would let you out on the road with the car running like that!Complain loudly...I wouldn't run it with the edit in place untill you get it sorted.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Wanna bet vik sad but true Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/20948-problem-with-flash/page/3/#findComment-316374 Share on other sites
Guest Guests Posted 17/11/05 10:48 AM Share Posted 17/11/05 10:48 AM Sounds a bit like boost surge to me. Depending on how your tuner controls the boost, I am told there are a couple of ways, then this problem can be eliminated.I had it after my first tune, and the WOG took all of 5 minutes to have it running beautifully!Complain, complain and complain. If that doesn't work tell us all who he is and affect him that way.Or as others have said, speak to capa direct, and COMPLAIN loudly!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>But it doesnt sink in to thick heads like yours does it vik...lovely to see the double standards Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/20948-problem-with-flash/page/3/#findComment-316377 Share on other sites
