Even though I wish I had got an auto T because they are quicker, after reading this I realize us manual owners are lucky because our T56's handle a lot more power with no mods to the box.

How much power can the T56 handle without mods? Would a good average be the 320rwkw range or is it higher?

I think that somes it up well :msm:

:msm: Yeah, thanks JB. But was that before Edit software could play around with tranny line pressures and the like? :msm:

I've just spoken to the Wog himself and he's convinced me that, even with buckets of torque coming in down low, he has 'gearbox safe' tunes thanks to his ability to alter line pressures and what have you (pardon the techno speak, you can tell I'm a real techy at heart!! :msm::spoton: ) with the new Edit software. Go the Wog I say!! :msm:

Our car has now just started to slip going into 3rd gear we have had over 250 rwkw's for 70,000 km's we now are running 319rwkw's for the last 10,000 k's and with 104,000 k's on the clock we have done well.

We have a very large cooler and sepperate fan for the transmisson and changed the oil every 20,000 k's with penrite but not the synthetic oil but I will be using this after the trans rebiuld next week.

Goldie, where abouts do you have your oil cooler, and how did you go about hooking up the extra fan for it.

Dazza.
