Well as you all probably know my wife has a XR6T I bought for her this year. 2003 build no sporting 52000 kms. When we first got the car I tuned it and it made 262 rwkw's, I ran it at the plex and it did a 12.90 @ 112 mph with a 2.5 60ft. Now, the car basicly stock(Only mod at the time was a set of injectors), well this week ive added a SMB 4 inch dump and cat and my F6 phoon Intercooler(Im fitting it tomorrow :spoton: .) Im heading to the dyno this week and also to the track hopefully this week aswell... Be interesting to see the difference its going to make with these 2 xtra bolt ons and a retune.

Ill post a graph before I hit the track so Lets see what FPV's Intercooler can do. :fool:

Simon,

I am no expert but it would be nice to see it run a mid to low 12??

I will PM you my number and you can SMS when you go to the Motorplex because I want to see this car and also see how it goes

simon I think it will go very well, I dont have an idea time wise but it will smash the 12.90 u had a while ago.

As you know that I am looking to come to, so I will hopefully get my slicks worked out.. or some good tyres this week.

you would expect to get around 290rkw, which should have about 116-118mph, but valve springs might give you trouble, and as power goes up traction gets harder. it might be worth getting some m/t street radials, for $600.00 they are so smooth on the car and it takes traction out of the way. (no more tramping so you are less likly to brake something, )

is that through rocket industries ?

when you do your new tune, bring the torque in smoothly, not in one big hit, and try not to get any wheel spin off the mark, then it should hold traction the rest of the way,

if you tune from 2000-3800 for just keeping traction, you don't use this through the rest of the gears,
