I took my car to Calder last night - it's completely stock, 6 spd manual. Running on half tank of Optimax, stock 17s with stock Dunlop tyres running 38psi (that's what I run on the street), took out the spare tyre. 13.8@98mph. I had heaps of runs - consistantly running 14.1sHere's my timesheet...http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y38/vinnie320/timeslip.jpg Edited 19/11/05 02:41 AM by Shockwave-T

You really know how to launch these things, well done.A question, at what RPM did you change from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, and 3rd to 4th (if needed)??? Just wondering whether RPM gear change effects the track time more than launches...?

I crossed the finish line toward the top end of 4th. I really think it's the launches which made the biggest difference - dial in 3500 RPM and slip the clutch. Steve (XXXR6T) did a 14.1 @98 mph in his first attempt in my car. He's done 13.8s in his car (03 5 spd), and I got a 14.3 in his car. The guy can drive! Or maybe its because I weigh 40kg more than him?
