well i thought those rims look nice but hadnt got a price yet for them.. rang this afternoon.. $6000 for 4 including rubber.. Somehow I dont think i will be getting them.

Ive heard from a few people aftermarket rims can bring the value of the car down.. also takes away the XR look from the car. Do you guys think so? My cousin who has some very nice cars tends to agree with them.

I'd go original all the way. Not sure about value being affected but the looks and presence of the car, FOR SURE! You really only have 2 choices as I see it.

1. wait for the 18's

2. take the 17's and be happy.

Besides its only an inch and you'll barely notice once you're actually driving it

or these..

Can you get your hands on some AU rims such as the T3 rims? They would look pretty good...

T3 rims most likely wouldn't suit the BA because the offset is slightly different front and rear on T3s. It's 36mm front and I think 24-26 rear. Rears might scrub agains the guards a bit.

As for those two wheels, I'm not really keen on either. Then again, I'm not really a chrome wheel person.

however, I'd go with the enkei wheel because they are FAR superior to most stuff in the market.

I agree with richdave.

Either wait for the 18's, or stick to the 17's.

The second option will be cheaper and means you will get your car sooner.

Does 1 inch really matter enough to delay your car even more?

When are you picking me up by the way? :)

WHOA!!! I knew Enkeis were expensive, but not that expensive...

If you can, get the factory 18s, if not, stick with the 17s and wait for a few months, then sell your 17s and buy a set of 18s because I reckon there'll be heaps of guys with AUs wanting to buy BA rims.

Some Paint Shop Pro fooling around, and I have found a "look" that I think is killer! It may be the start of something "real" in the coming months

what rims are those MrSparkle?

ROH Adrenalines, $3000 / set of 4 x 18" with dodgy rubber. Add another $1000 for name brand rubber!
