Need Advise (ford Is Fcuked)

yeh I really think we need a thread dedicated to "Unreasonable Dealers" ...

in my past experience with Nissan dealers they are either total fcukwits who really shouldnt even be in the industry or they are brilliant and helpful..

it took a few mistakes to learn the good from the bad and something like a good dealer list would hopefully persuade some of the asstastic ones to pull their finger out and learn about customer satisfaction

that's a good idea nang but in wa the only dealer I havent heard get bagged is lane ford, an their in mandurah..

my car is getting a fair bit of warranty work done an I have a cai!!

think trying another dealer is the only way to get around this one mattri

yeh mate ive heard Lane are pretty good too... I bought mine from Seaview Ford in Clarkson and they have been pretty good as well, a nice new dealership bending over backwards to get a good clientbase etc..

Im not a fan of the one located Centrally in perth hehe.. one of the guys took me for a testdrive in a GT-P and flogged the guts out of the motor, stone cold I might add and even did a burnout leaving the carpark !!

as I said I wont say the name put it this way they are in the ryde area

I paid for it, car is awesome aghain but im still fumming over this, I asked in writing and allthey said was part not covered due to modification, that's all hahah

but its back now, full throttle in 3rd goes to .4 bar and sits thee well till about 4500 nayway, and thorugh gear changes it peaks to .6 bar

so yues edit comes tomrrow

I know which dealer you are talking about. that's where I got my car from. But so far they have been good with me. (Mind you I dont have any serious mods yet )

*beep* em the CAI has nothing to do with your problem.

The Problem is now they know about the CAI, it's on report and any other work carried out to do with CAI will be voided.

Jeez mattri, that does seem a little harsh mate. I mostly agree with the "you play you pay" philosophy, but I also think dealers should be reasonable when making assessments about DIY mods. I mean, an SS CAI for goodness sake, hardly serious stuff. And as Xtreme says, how the hell that could kill a solenoid would certainly be interesting to hear!

Oh well, at least it only cost you $100 this time, and now you know not to go back to that particular dealer!

car is boosting great now

I work at gladesville so they are just ip the road, I have been to jubilee with no worries but it is fqr away so I leanred my lesson no more of tghat dealer for me

Some of these ford dealers run their business like sh*t, sure I can understand if it's a $1000 job to fix, but being so tight on a $100 part is not good for future business.
