yeah willowbank. You can add .5 to any cars time there compared to tracks down south, I dont launch overly hard either, I am paranoid about breaking stuff before its time. And the car can only produce 200rwkw with the chip the stock injectors cant supply any more fuel, my tuner can usually get between 210-220rwkw from unichip and stock fuel injectors but mine wouldnt do it wil maintaining around a 12.5:1 AFR.

Definatley an improvement via the seat of your pants dyno though over the stock T. And please dont start any unijip/stooge crap on this thread.

Dazza.

I'd highly recommend you guys get hotdogs, even if they are only small ones.

Cops are starting to check these now, and without a hotdog there, I'd say you'll be well over the volume limit.

The hotdog might only take out 3db, so you'll hardly notice it from the inside, but it will take out most of the drone, but leave most of the raspyness....

My 2c

3db equates to 1/2 the volume. Every 3db gain is double etc etc...so should make a substantial difference.

hey guys,

well I called APC and he reckoned to remove the rear muffler would give the best sound instead of the centre muffler??

anyone done this??

Anyway he said about $160-170 to replace the rear muffler with hotdogs... seems reasonable but im still confused as to why no one on the forums has mentioned changing the rear muffler as opposed to the centre muffler????????????

cheers

I was told that it's better to remove the center on the turbo and the rear on 8, as far as power loss goes. Duel 2 1/2 cat back is a semi cheap alternative, only cost me an extra $300, but I was lucky I think, sound is great.

yeah no worries!!! As long as you have that improvement of stock is what counts. I flogged the bejesus out of my 6sp T and only managed a 14.377, whereas other guys in perth with T5's are getting sub 14's with stock T's. I wouldnt waste my time stooging around on an exhaust thread.......or any for that matter!!!! Anyway interesting to know the difficulty with willowbank. Cheers,

One of my mates had his centre muffler removed and it sounded very good.no drone. He changed to a x-force system after about 3mths and it was actually a little quieter but still sounded good.
