I had mine removed last week and a couple of days later noticed that I had lost 2 psi of boost...

Don't ask me how that works out but it did!!!

Its getting a wog tune next week and sounds awesome though so I'm considering leaving it...

I'd highly recommend you guys get hotdogs, even if they are only small ones.

Cops are starting to check these now, and without a hotdog there, I'd say you'll be well over the volume limit.

The hotdog might only take out 3db, so you'll hardly notice it from the inside, but it will take out most of the drone, but leave most of the raspyness....

The drone isnt somthing I really notice because it is so minor and it's at revs/speeds you dont cruise at. The hotdogs make the tone different and a bit softer.

The only problem I have with this mod is when decellerating it gurgles a fair amount (similar to the V8 supercar slow down sound maybe?) and some people hate this but I dont mind it most of the time.

Yeah cheers Lawsy, I suppose if there is hotdogs there, they are technically a muffler and may get you off the hook.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Another option would be to "gut" the centre muffler like some people do to their cat'. If anyone (read mr plod) looks under there you still have the stock muffler but in reality there is straight pipe through it.

Might be one you could get away with on a lease car too :spoton:

3 Questions...

1. Exactly how loud is it? Legal? Mazda RX7 with a 14" exhaust?

2. What will ford do when I have a warranty problem?

3. Does it decrease your power at all?

Sorry im a bit stupid when it comes to exhausts and cutting sh*t off that's supposed to be there.. :spoton:
