Now for those who don't know, one of the facilities any visitor to Melbourne can enjoy is a free tram service that encircles Melbourne (not the tram I was on), called the City Circle Tram. My brother was in the Lake District in England a couple of years ago. Early one cold morning was down for breakfast and there was a beautiful fog that had settled over night and not yet cleared. The lake district is about as "English Countryside" as you can get". Elder yank couple entered breakfast area and woman blurted out "OH MY GOD, LOOK AT ALL THE SMOG".To which my bro said to her "You're not in LA you ignoramus. It's fog". Classic.
