Im still learning about the whole brake upgrade thing at the moment so here goes,

From what I can gather because I have a BF XR6T I only really need the full PBR front kit and slotted rotors for the rear?

Thanks

Damo

I'd just change the discs and pads all round - get some braided lines to improve the pedal feel too, but you really shouldn't need to change the calipers unless you want big brakes

Thanks for the info.

I thought about changing just the Disks, pads and lines but also want the bigger disks to make it look tough. And I want to do a couple of track days next year.

Cheers

Just fitted my kit on last week and all is good.....but.

Tried to transfer from NSW to ACT rego today and scored a fail at the inspection because the "modification" to the brakes has no details of ADR compliance. I explained that they were original fit on BA FPV's and showed a letter from PBR stating they complied but that was not good enough for them. They want a certificate that shows ADR compliance. I tried PBR again but it looks like they are off on holidays. So now my T will sit unregistered in the garage for the next few weeks till I can sort this crap out.

Has anyone else had problems proving ADR compliance to vehicle inspectors?

that's scary, cause that may well have insurance ramifications for all that have done this and then sought out ADR complience. f*ck thay make things hard dont they?

BCR has shut up shop.

If you have a BA, I would suggest using the front half of the PBR upgrade and sourcing some BFs or Terri rears. As the PBR upgrade rears are the same size as the BA, they just use a slotted disc.
