Go and buy some DBA4000's. some decent pads, and save ya self a few grand!

Not sure how it is possible to save 'a few grand' on an investment of less than 2 grand to buy the PBR's :kissmy:

What is 4000 series rotors and pads going to set you back, $700 - $800 bucks, so the difference hardly makes a saving of a few grand :fool: (no offense, lol)

isnt the rrp of the PBA upgrade $2500. close enough to a few grand.

Send a pm to BCR01 and you probably won't have to pay rrp (who does anyway?) :msm:

The PBR's are fantastic ... and don't cost anything like that ... PM BCR01.

Cheers, Jason.

My PBR kit cost me $1800 from Bursons Autoparts Vic.

I decided not to go the DBA rotor direction after reading forum posts saying the problem restarted. Anyway by going the PBR kit you get larger fronts than standard.

I was surprised at the difference. Not a sudden braking, but definetly lost that soft/spongy feel. I hadn't noticed it until I changed.

I have just fitted these to my NA XR6 and they do work good. I have got the DBA 4504 at the fronts and 4505 at the back. The pedal feel is much better and they do stop good. I havent had any fade yet but mind you I am still yet to give them a very hard few constant braking sessions. I feel much more confident with late braking now.

I have got them with Ferodo pads all around from autobhan when they had the 20% off 3 weekends ago for $800.

I dont think they would hold up as good as the PBR kit but if you are not gonna do any track days or anything, I recommend the DBAs.

:smilielol:

I will post up some photos as soon as I can.
