So does the extra rubber snorkel go on before or after you install the airbox in the car? It looks to difficult to put on once the airbox is in the car but the a/c pipe seem to be in the way when trying to install with snorkel already attached. Any hints/tips?

I put the snorkel on before it was in the car, and then squeezed it into the spot when putting the whole thing in, was a pain to get the snorkel on even when it wasnt in the car let alone int eh car so yeh put snorkel on then put box section back in, as I said in another post lots of swearing and you might loose some blood, and I dont think your getting the bottom bolt back in which is under the snorkel

Can't remember exactly how I did it now, but I know a) I didn't have too many issues squeezing the snorkel under the headlight and b) I reinstalled the bottom bolt without losing skin. I THINK I may have slipped the snorkel in place first, then slipped the airbox in and used the newly cut snorkel hole to fit a spanner through to refit the bottom bolt, then mated the snorkel back up to the airbox. The snorkel's a pretty flexible little item, so it wasn't a hassle manipulating it into it's new home in the airbox with everything in place.

I did the same as Bugster, slipped the snorkel in, dropped the air box in place, did up the bolts then fitted the snorkel to the airbox. Bit of a bugger that bottom bolt, but if the wife or kids have small hands, time to call in a favour.
