What teeg's saying makes sense now - I was sure the XR8 snorkel was a different beast, but if they have changed it to the 'Phoon intake for the new BF series, that would explain why dealers are now saying it's an XR8 part. Good for everyone, no more hassles with trying to obtain FPV VIN numbers!!

I probably should mention this was from City Ford in Melbourne. Mahoy thanks heaps, they now have one left.Way to go stang, let us know how you go fitting it mate! First of all a big thank you to Mahoy for telling me about the typhoon cai at City Ford.Bugster and kaine for making this topic aware to all the members. You guessed it , today we fitted the typhoon cai, now cant tell for sure but it felt a bit rev happier, but could have been just me.Still have std filter in it . To change or not to change that is the question.iI have heard pro`s and cons for both.Any way for those that havent read the thread and those that have I have joined the typhoon cai club.
