Besides 99% of us turn the traction control Off rendering it useless and any such associated software incorporated such as DSC if it was fitted. The STD BF Brembo brakes and traction control would put it amongst some of the best in the world so I personally am very very impressed with it .Hell we are only talking $50~$60k for a F6 ………. Get over it and get in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IT came down to money and nothing elseTC and Brembo's does not make the car any safer than the BA was. While I believe that the BA is a safe car, adding DSC makes it very safe.TC and Brembo's will not save you like DSC can.DSC will prevent the car from sliding on any surface and keep it pointing in the right direction. While many of us will turn it off at times, on the road you never know when some useless driver will make you need the system. It can be the difference between hitting a pole/car/whatever and safely steering around a problem.I can understand the reasoning behind the FPV not having DSC, but to me it seems the whole FPV range is a big rush job and they do not deserve to call their new range BF's when they are more like Mk3 BAs

Be nice of it was there, but it's not going to be. And it's certainly not enough to keep me out of a nice new F6. No Sir.Besides, the Ford description of DCS mentioned that the onset of the DCS system is progressively retarded in the more performance inclined vehicles, to maintain the sporty feel/performance ie, it comes on much much later in an XR6T and MUCH earlier on a Fairlane. So even if it HAD been applied on FPV, it wouldn't have been the total safety anti-crash system some were expecting. With 6-pot Brembos, TCS, ABS and the inherent vehicle dynamics, I'll have more than enough help to keep me out of the gravel/ditch/500 foot drop I would think. No use worrying about things I can't change. Now I just have to decide whether I really do want to get manual. Had my heart set on it, but ZF Auto sounds good.

Yes that’s right an auto that is better than a manual!!!.13/100kmBesides this is no slush box auto and is years ahead of any previous auto used in aus.For me its only one choice …Auto all the way

I want manual because I enjoy the shifting, the dirver to engine feel (if that makes any sense at all), controlling the RPM around corners etc etcTo my mind, a manual means more driving enjoyment, whereas the ZF auto translates into - Plant foot ---> hang on ---> grin like an idiot, which is no bad thing either! And yeah, a ZF car will be faster than a T56 one.Nup, bugger it I'll stick with the manual.I think Sorry for the OT post there, handing back over to the DCS discussion now... Air-bag's are good for sleeping on, hell I'm not even a fan of ABS
