The standard 4 spot brembos only have single spot rears, so the $4,300 seems like a good investment for 4 new huge calipers.I was interested in why none of the FPV info mentioned the DSC (Dynamil Stability Control) in the FPV range......that's because NON of the cars have this feature I got speaking to the FPV engineer on the stand and he said they had issues getting it working on the Brembo brakes and that it was deleted from the feature list.I think this sucks as I was hoping to use this a selling feature for my wife so I can get the Phoon. It is funny that FPV do not mention it anywhere that this was removed.... Colour coded stitching -no problem -expensive paint option, no problem. Web site that works- no problem. This is just embarrassing

I also found that the TC button will disable the DSC on the XR range, it does not have a different button.Another thing I found out is the XR6T's are no longer partially assembled by FPV, they used to do the turbo and intercooler, now its only the sunroof. Apparently they only do the intercooler and 6spot brembo's at FPV on the F6. All the rest is done on the production line at Geelong.I got heaps of details about how smart the 6 Speed auto is. It learns the driver and awards them points from 0 - 200 based on their driving style. 0 = grannie, 200= hoon. The gearbox will also hold the speed on a downhill and not roll on, it also will kick down in manual mode if you plant it. It looks like ford will finally have a gearbox to match the T motor. The FPV guy said the Typhoon on full song in the AUTO is like being in a F16, it just keeps pulling without the the gearchanges being notacible. If FPV are cutting corners like these they must not be performing that well financially. No REAL changes to the cars that did not flow down from the BF upgrade that l am aware of anyway, Brembo's aside.Bet the driveline is the same crap ECU torque tag protected POS as the BA l wanted to like the FPV and l do love the new look, especially the F6 with those dark grey alloys, but l am still not sure. No DSC is just poor engineering.

In this case cars within the Ford Empire are running Brembos and DSC together. What it means in the real world? Probably nothing but it doesn't look to sharp to be going through the product specification and seeing items that are available on lower cars being omitted especially in this PC world where safety is everything. In some ways this BF FPV range is looking very thin. Do we actually know for a fact that the sound deadening improvement follow on in to the FPV range or are they continuing to use BA shells? : sarcastic:

A common air box in the range, deletion of coded stitching while it is still available on Xrs and so on. They are little things that support exactly what you have said.
