Yep, l am fairly sure it comes with 11 speakers, same as the up spec AU's. Two ways in the doors, two ways in the parcel shelf, tweeters in the a pillars and a sub. Makes 11.

It sounds really good for a factroy car audio. The fact that the BA is so quiet actually lets you enjoy it. :D

What about a slide/flip out screen that went in under the Stereo in place of the tissue holder/smokers pack?? Then you could use the AUX input to link straight into the stereo.

Now that would be cool :D

Actually, I'll be interested to see what's possible with the DVD Satellite Navigation option. Considering the VDO Dayton unit they use is able to accept incoming video in its normal incarnation...

So the actual unit they use for SatNav is different from the Colour TFT Screen they use for the Premium option?

No, the screen is the same, but there is a VDO Dayton SatNav system in place behind the Premium colour LCD screen (with the DVD drive in the boot of the car). Its that unit I'm going to see if I can manipulate. :)

Very Nice. Hey with that option installed, I'd let the wife drive everywhere, I'll play PS2 in the back seat thank you very much. :P

Probably why we are not getting it.

Ahh, Premium Stereo, hey, I'm a musician, guitarist/singer, been in 3 metal bands in Brisbane, I need Premium sound. It's that simple, windows down, Metal pounding out of all those thundering yet crisp speakers, "it's all good". Sorry, I tend to say that a lot....lol. I hope that if I keep saying it, then it will be.

Yes I think it is 11 speakers, 2 sets of 2 way speakers, sub-woofer, 2 tweeters, yeah, that sounds right. Anyone know about the "Auxiliary Audio Plug-In (Cassette & MP3)??? What the deal is??? That's one thing I'll miss, the tape player like I have with the AU Prem. Sound.

Basically, its just a stereo jack input into the AUX of the Premium Sound. So you can hookup an MP3 walkman or something like that.

For those of you who ARE looking at doing that, take a look at Sony's range of NetMD players. They're MiniDisc players (so they're nice and small), but they can play MP3s off the MiniDisc, so you can still put heaps of music onto one disc.
