Hi guys,

Well I guess I'll go against the flow here and I sort of think that FPV have gone too far with their styling cues to the point where the FPV cars are not as attractive as the stock production  BF XR6T and XR8s.

I believe performance may be better than the stock production cars, but they just look AUish or even HSVish to me.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I like the more simpler styling in of the XR6Ts.

I agree with the first part, they do look AUish and HSVish, but maybe its just the pics. They still look better than the XR6T's though IMO. All in all I think they look nice, but I'll be sticking with the old wheels when I get one next year.

Guys - Ive just done the Press and Trade day, today, at the Sydney Motor Show.... (note for you dudes in Melbourne - it's now called the "Australian International Motor Show"; us New South Welshmen cant help a bit of one-upmanship..).

So amongst all the other good stuff was a good looking FPV stand - replete with BF GT, GT-P, and F6. My views:

GT / GTP / Bute - look much more aggressive; stripes are nicer & better integrated in the way they are cut. Wheels good, but nothing outstanding. Brake upgrades are great.. 2 levels of sweet looking Brembos (On F6 also).

F6 - looks less agressive than 'old' model - the grill is a bit too fussy and especially the fog lights - they are way smaller and look like an after-thought.

The optional gun-metal grey wheels are nice but the colour makes them look smaller than their 19 inches. (standard wheels are as before..)

Everyone will have their own views - as is always the case with cosmetics.. Best save your decision until you see them all in the flesh...

Cheers

Apparently there is a John Bowes pack and a Bathurst pack for the GT's so my dealer was telling me, Bathurst pack is the full kit for $15,000.

Anyone got any more info on these??
