Well after much hesitation to fit my ASE cooler, I said what the hell and fitted it on anyway. I knew it wasnt a straight swap over so about 5mm of ginding was done and a few new holes for the brackets that hold the ic. The brackets that were supplied didnt work out so I rang ASE and was told that the brackets were from a earlier model xr. I gave him dimensions for the brackets I needed and he made them straight away and expressed posted them to me the next day. They were more than helpful.

So how does it perform, well there is a definate improvement in power, especially down low, it feels alot stronger. Run after run the power is still there with minimal heat soak. My boost always peaks at 10 -11psi where as before it fluctuated all over the place.

Off to get a re-tune next week to get the most out of it.
