As a devoted Ford owner and supporter, I'm completely gutted.

I still cannot believe how many ways Ford teams can find to piss it all against the wall and continually fail at this event.

Lowndes and Ambrose clearly had 2 of the quickest cars there. Lowndes did'nt need to go out as hard as he did and make an error by clipping the wall, he clearly had the pace to stay in front and in control of the race. What a wasted opportunity. AGAIN

Then Ambrose, Luff and Ingall clearly deciding they were above the rules. These decisions clearly cost them the race win, what with drive through penalties and then having to stop to put the bloody thing on  If they had done the right thing he may well have been in the race lead not back amongst the pack.

Ross and Jimmy Stone should impose their own penalties on these clowns as well. Not only did they throw away a very likely win, it has also hurt the championship position.

And then there is the damage to that beautiful Pirtek Falcon. To think that is the same car they built almost 3 years ago and won 2 championships with and very rarely had a dent put in it. To see it looking like that Well!!!! :spit::spoton::spoton:

And I won't even get started on that Fu*kn clown Murphy

NO MORE EXCUSES FORD!!!

you clearly have the quicker cars it's time for results before the window of opportunity pass you and your supportes by.

end of rant

I'm off to cry in my stubby again and say "If only".

I heard him say it was a gentlemans agreement over the balaclava, well if that's the case, Why did they decide to make it an issue when it looked like ford would maybe win for a change.

I believe that bathurst has for a few years been on the side of holden.

Maybe I am wrong, but it seems to me that way.

Ken

I can`t help agree with the above comment,on the last few laps of the race all they could do was critisize lowndes and even made fun of the fact that peter brock mentioned it would be lowndes who might win bathurst.Even when Ford still had a chance the commentators were still focusing heavily on the holdens.

Apparently Murph and Ambrose will not get any penalty for their bingle.

I think this SUCKS as Murphy gave MA a rear love tap sending him into the wall, this is discrasefull and is shows the bias that the officials show when a Expensive Daewoo is at fault. Ambrose had the line and Murph should have backed away rather than tap the back of the car.

I also think their needs to be a no blind eye policy, if you need to wear safety gear then everyone must and pay the price if they forget, it is a joke that they have turned a blind eye except when the Fords are leading.

It could have been a 1-2-3 Ford finnish if the Expensive Daewoo kept their wheels on or punted them off.

At least it was an eventful race......

 Bathurst...what do we have to do to win it...worse part is next year we won't have Ambrose :spit: ...may as well bring back Moffatt....at least he had the desire and dedication to win :msm:

Why was lowndes trying to set lap records in the first hour...just doesn't make sense :spit: The flying wheel from Dumdum's car didn't have any effect on lowndes chances, his race was well and truly over by then...and going by Perkins comments so are Dumdum's career at perkins :fool:

Murphy just couldn't cop being outsmarted and overtaken on the restart and had a complete brainfade.. :nono: wanker!..and his channel ten mates sure run an unbiased commentary...like :nono: ...see the way they were cheering the pinhead on to overtake Macrow when the restart happened....need a commentator who will call it like it is not just pussy foot around because they don't want to upset their tv star mates

Ford desparately need some new blood otherwise Expensive Daewoo will continue to dominate

Expensive Daewoo deserved their win

I think next year they should rename the race to The Expensive Daewoo 1000, what about the Expensive Daewoo drivers clearly not wearing balaclavas, the murphy incident, and some of the comments from the commentators, makes you think the orginisers wanted ford to loose

Regardless of a any "gentleman's agreement" Ambrose had, the rule book says that the drivers must wear the balaclavas. SBR are equally to blame as MA as they should of made sure he was wearing it. It does seem that SBR were the target of a witch hunt, I'm betting there were more drivers not wearing balaclavas. Hope this is being investigated.

It was real bad luck for Lowndes, he had a very strong, quick and reliable car and looked to be a real good chance of winning until a wheel came flying through the windscreen. I was wondering why they couldn't fit some sort of temporary plastic windscreen rather than drive with none at all. I can't imagine what it was like at 290km/h with no screen.

There will be no doubt be some kind of penalty put on Lowndes for running into a Expensive Daewoo wheel :nono:

Better luck next year

I will play some conspiracy theories :msm:

Expensive Daewoo was a major sponsor of the telecast

2 years of not wearing it and pull him up on it when hes leading bathurst

that wheel came off a bit easy for my liking, maybe it was "standard"

mmm now Im just being silly ... or am I .... :msm:

Apparently Murphy wasn't wearing any underwear, which would explain why he only had one hand on the steering wheel :msm:

Murphy's TV interview made him look like a spoilt brat, especially when Marcus was interviewed a few minutes after and there was no evidence of the Huge EGO that murphy said Ambrose has!

Its a shame the all the softCo*ck officials wont call it for what it really was - a unashamed attempt to aggravate another driver gone wrong - IMO.

The whole balaclava issue should have been dealt with via fines after the race so that all offenders would be pulled up in it and not effect the race result as its clearly not a performance advantage issue.

I think the race officals should be Crucified for making a joke of the whole finish.

Congratulations to HRT for a smart (albiet a bit hollow) win.

P.S. Anybody interested in membership to "Murphy is a Tosser" Supporters club??
