Pls explain..thanks mate..the claybar is like a bar of clay (but feels and looks like plasticine) that you rub the whole car with before cleaning it or anything.. it removes all the tiny bits of road grime, sap, brakepad fibres etc etc that a normal wash or polish doesnt remove.. basically every single thing from the paint except the clear coat hehe.. afterwards when you rub your finger along the paint it feels like glass instead of having little bumps and crap everywhere..if you have the time it is definitely worth doing the whole treatment which consists of ;1. Hose car off thoroughly2. Wash car with alkaline dishwashing liquid to remove all previous layers of wax and dirt etc3. rub every panel down with claybar using slightly soapy water as lube (I use the zaino carwash liquid with warmish water). Check every panel for rough/missed parts.4. Thoroughly wash car with quality car wash then dry5. polish using Zaino. apply as many layers as you wantOnce you have done this, dirt comes off so easily its a joke because the paint surface is like a mirror... I find a quick high pressure hose off will remove 95% of all dirt that would normally require a hand wash.the 1st time you do this procedure though, I would recommend repeating step 2 after step 3 just to remove any leftover bits of wax or clay left on the car..heres some pics of other cars;http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/mercha...ory_Code=PHOTOSI have tried a few other polishes like mothers, meguiers, kitten etc.. but ive found nothing works as well as zaino, for me anyway... the Pinnacle stuff is sposed to be pretty good too, im thinking of trying their souverian wax stuff.. Not the look I want on the dash. I do however use it on the kick plates and sides of the foot wells.Regards Colin<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Colin,Try Mr Sheen so you can clean, wax and polish as you dust ......No greasy residue and it doesn't stink when the car gets hot inside.Muz

Went through a car wash last week. Will probably just do that from now on.Copped some flak at our last dyno day about my dirty car too. You should see the inside! (Clue: 3 baby / booster seats across back seat). With my current busy life, cars are for driving not washing. I enjoy driving it, not looking at it.Mark
