Having driven both id go F6. Cant beat the sound of a GT/P with a decent exhaust though!!!. Drove a black GTP with GT360 plates (but there was no way it was 360kws) that was pretty nice, but a standard F6 was more enjoyable. V tough call. When in doubt flip a coin. HellionXR6T I'm Back!! The GT-P and the F6. Both have great potential but a twin turbo, supercharged GT-P does sound HOT and very inviting!!! Think of the sound......Mmmmmm.What ever you decide, I'm sure it will be a project and a half, good luck no matter which way you decide to go dude. PASHEN Member 868 Member For: 21y 1m 1d Location: Need one.. Posted 05/10/05 10:53 PM Author Share Posted 05/10/05 10:53 PM Well, I went for another drive in a GT yesterday. It was a manual. I sooooo wanted to love it, but I didn't. Sure, the bulge looked great, and the sound was solid, but I couldn't help but feel the weight of the car. I didn't like the gearbox at all either. I really wished the car would stir me a little, but it didn't. The power delivery was ordinary, and I couldn't justify the $30K + more than a standard XR8. I'm not knocking the car at all - the GT is an awesome car - just explaining what I felt when I drove it last night. It didn't excite me in the slightest. I know there is the option of supercharger or twin turbo, but a car with this much power and the top of the food chain when it comes to FPV's, I just expected more from the stocky GT.Maybe the last 2.5 years have conditioned me to appreciate the Turbo 6 over the V8. I'll be going down the Typhoon path - 6 speed auto, Black, 19 inch wheels, roof, leather, brembos. What sort of mods have some of you F6 owners done to your cars? PASHEN8....or ... not...<{POST_SNAPBACK}>lol Great idea, except it will have to be PASHN8 to fit.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Dunno about Victoria but 7 letters is the same price as 6... (If you want v8 sound I reakon 'ol school v8 sound is better anyway, from the money you save from not buying the GT you could go and get an old Clevo powered for next to pocket change. Nothing beats the sound of an Clevo at full noise ---> well that's the path I have taken, 351 for weekend modded xr6T for the week.)Cheers,Ford Grunt

Picked up 48RWKWs and 4 PSI of boost. (That was after using a 3.5” Defilipo as well)1) APC Full Stainless Custom Exhaust2) Mod the Fuel pump Relief valve.3) Edit 4) Nizpro 100 injectors No other mods at all and 320 RWKWs now.
