Posted 05/10/05 03:03 AM Author Share Posted 05/10/05 03:03 AM Gotta say Dave, for my money, as brutally quick as the Turbo's can be and you of all people know how brutal that can be, I'd hazard a guess and say you wouldn't have sold PASHEN if that's mainly what you were after. For my money, I don't think there are many T's that sound as good as even dad's old Sprint, let alone a modded BA GT such as DBOSS's and a Silhouette GT dewinged and with black ROH Modena's would be oh so horn. For all the extra power that the T's can have extracted isn't that useful out on the open road now days. For mine: a Silhouette BF GT-P with Leather and 6 Speed Auto. Fitted with Mirror Tint, debadged and de-winged and a set of 19" Black ROH Modenas over the new BF SuperBrake Package. Lowered on Adjustable Whiteline GroupA Coil-Overs with Full Dual Exhaust (rumoured on BF anyway),CAI (perhaps Shaker),Underdrives, Throttle Body/Helix and custom Edit  ...It's great when you can spend other people money I'm sure however, that whatever you get will be another tribute to you.Cheers,Lumpy <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Lumpy,Summed it up well mate. Except I reckon I'll stick to the factory 19's.

"if u stepped into a phoon, u may be a little HO HUM"..You sound like u love your V8's alot so I would be inclined to get the GT - GT-P to satisfy that V8 hunger... if its a little "ho hum" for you then there are a number of "forced induction" options for you to add some spice to the recipe...V8 Roar + Boost = ABSOLUTE HEAVEN!!!!!!!!!!!just my 2 cents mate...Good luck with the decision

Dad always said that the only other thing he'd buy aside from the Sprint would be an AUIII TS50 but after showing his Roberta's vids of you lot the other night he said he would also settle for a GT with an exhaust like THAT Lumpy
Venom XR6 Member 1,460 Member For: 21y 8m Location: Geelong Victoria Posted 05/10/05 09:30 AM Share Posted 05/10/05 09:30 AM I'd get a BF GTP, 6 speed auto and one of BPT's screw blower kits. It has a new inlet manifold to sit the supercharger in the valley and comes with your choice of supercharger, either Eaton, Kenne Bell or another type. Full boost from idle and massive gobs of torque and a scream from the blower that would send chills down your spin. They are in testing now and will sell for around 15k. Only thing you would have to worry about is a F6 or a TT monaro... or a Evo 9... or a tuff XR6T.... sheesh we do live in a good country so many fast cars that can be had
