This means the inside rear tyre will wear quicker than the rest.If you are getting a suspension place to install your springs get them to fit the camber kit at the same time. But obviously worth checking then for those contemplating changing springs.

I too went with King Springs SL up front and SSL in the rear. Cost me $220 for the springs (from eBay, and I'm sure there's currently a set for sale at that price) and $200 to have fitted. Cheap and very worthwhile mod in my opinion. As for looks, although I didn't measure anything before and after, you can tell just by looking at the car that it has DEFINITELY been dropped by a good amount. Stock XR's now look way too high to me. Noticeable decrease in body roll too but I, unlike most others it would seem, have also noticed a slightly harsher/bumpier ride as a result - but I actually like it like that, inspires confidence. I've heard some people MAY need a camber/castor kit up front, but most don't, me included. However, as the rear is dropping in the region of 50-60mm with the SSLs, I did need to have a bit cut off my bump stops. I personally hate the really low look (rice boy/tyres under guards/etc), but this combo looks just right to me. It's meant to result in a 'level sill' look and I think it's achieved just that. Effective but subtle, I love it.

It sits it a little bit lower than standardOnly just saw your pics mate. Phark me, "a little bit lower than standard"?! Are you kidding me?! That looks a LOT lower to me, or is it just the way you've taken the pictures? I have the same combo as you and there's no way in hell my rear end looks that low (your tyres look like they up under the guards?)...

In other words on a drag strip or boy racer from the lights?Does it impact negatively on the ability to shift weight to the rears and get traction? It would be nice to hear from those with experience.....
