So far every Mazda I've driven has suppose to be the ultimate in sports and preformance and each time I ended up doing this --> :spoton:

(I'm obviously not talking MX5's here however)

I do admit that they look ok (seen far worse) but for a price tag of $55K id want something very special...

It would be a very good car. I believe you guys fail to see how good this chassis actually is - not eveything is about a straight line......It is actually entertaining to go around corners quickly, to me at least.

The magazines rave about it for a reason and the build quality has to be better than my Typhoon at least!

Yeh gotta agree there. My mum has one of these little beasts I reakon its a hoot around corners it handles brilliantly. With AWD and some good alloy wheels I think they would be a great little car around some hills. :tease:

So where did the price come from out of interest?

Wheels have a spiel about the MPS6 in this months issue.

They like it a lot. Looks like a nice car to me and great value starting at $48.5k as Richdave noted. At this price you get a lot of fruit including Xenons. The $55k version includes leather, Glass electric s/roof, Bose stereo etc. Wheels got 6.5 sec for the 0-100 so l reckon that would be pretty comparable to a T given their conservative times.

Got to be worth considering over a T if you dont need a full size car and value quality and resale.

The Subaru purchase is on hold for the moment due to the POX resale on the "T" so perhaps I will take the MPS for a spin when it's available.

BTW If Mondie is impressed then I probably will be too..
